Even now, living in the wide-open Texas plains, where the horizon stretches endlessly and the wind carries dust instead of salt… I still feel it. The rhythm. The calm. The pull.
I was born in Puerto Rico, surrounded by water, where the ocean isn’t just a place—it’s part of who you are. It’s in the way you breathe, the way you think, the way you feel peace. And later in life, when I lived in Cape Cod, I became what you’d probably call a full-on beach bum. Any chance I got, I was there—barefoot, wind in my hair, collecting moments and memories with the tide.
